51st Annual TV Week Logie Awards

The Logie Award Winners 2009 is a list of Australian television program Logie Awards winners and nominees. The awards are presented annually by the Australian television industry, currently as the TV Week Logie Awards, to recognise excellence in many areas of television, including acting, entertainment and news categories.
The 51st TV WEEK Logie Awards was televised on the Nine Network. Bill Collins received this year’s prestigious TV Week Hall of Fame Gold Logie Award.
With his unique style and passion, Bill has been presenting movies to us for over 45 years, starting back in 1963. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that this one time secondary school teacher has interviewed during his career some of the greatest of Hollywood’s Golden Era stars including Elizabeth Taylor, Tony Curtis, Rock Hudson, Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, Kim Novak and Angela Lansbury. Bill Collins also holds the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for his services to film and television.
