1959 TV Week Awards
(1st Annual TV Week Logie Awards)
The Logie Award Winners 1959 is a list of Australian television program Logie Awards winners and nominees. The awards are presented annually by the Australian television industry, currently as the TV Week Logie Awards, to recognise excellence in many areas of television, including acting, entertainment and news categories.
It was not called the Gold Logie the first year. The 1959 Awards were not televised. Awards were only given for Melbourne television programs.
