The ARIA Awards are presented annually by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) to recognise excellence, innovation and achievement across all genres of Australian music.
The 1992 ARIA Awards had a major change of location moving from Sydney, NSW to Melbourne, Victoria. Today’s ARIA Awards is seen by around 2 million people on television, and approximately 2,500 recording industry guests and 5,000 members of the general public.
