The Logie Award Winners 1983 is a list of Australian television program Logie Awards winners and nominees. The awards are presented annually by the Australian television industry, currently as the TV Week Logie Awards, to recognise excellence in many areas of television, including acting, entertainment and news categories.
Hosted by Michael Willesee. Special Guests were Graham Kennedy, Gordon Jackson (A Town Like Alice), Kiwi Pamela Stephenson (comedian), and USA stars Priscilla Presley, Chuck Norris, Jack Klugman (Quincy), Kate Jackson (Charlie’s Angels)
Mike Farrell and David Ogden Stiers (M*A*S*H), Gregory Harrison (TrapperJohn, MD), Shelley Fabares (One Day At A Time), Erin Gray (Buck Rogers In The 25th Century), Stephen Collins (Tales Of The Gold Monkey), and UK stars Dennis Waterman (Minder), Peter Davison (Doctor Who). Performers were Dennis Waterman, Doug Parkinson, Jimmy Hannan, Syd Heylen. The Awards were televised on Network Ten.
