Hosted by Bert Newton. Special Guests were UK star David Frost (That Was The Week That Was) and USA stars Sammy Davis Jr, Richard Anderson (Six Million Dollar Man), Florence Henderson (Brady Bunch), Mike Farrell (M*A*S*H), Patty Weaver (Days Of Our Lives), and Bob Hope (via cable from Sydney). The Awards were televised on the Nine Network.
The Logie Award Winners 1978 is a list of Australian television program Logie Awards winners and nominees. The awards are presented annually by the Australian television industry, currently as the TV Week Logie Awards, to recognise excellence in many areas of television, including acting, entertainment and news categories.
