The Logie Award Winners 1974 is a list of Australian television program Logie Awards winners and nominees. The awards are presented annually by the Australian television industry, currently as the TV Week Logie Awards, to recognise excellence in many areas of television, including acting, entertainment and news categories.
Hosted by Bert Newton. Special Guests were: Gina Lollobrigida (European film star), USA stars David Cassidy (Partridge Family), Tige Andrews (Gomer Pyle, USMC) and Macdonald Carey (Days Of Our Lives). The Awards were televised on the Nine Network.
Kingford Cigarettes were given an award for the Best Commercial. It could never happen today because cigarette commercials are no longer allowed on Australian television.

NOTE: yes, we know many of the Special Guests are famous for more than what we list. Because this is a historical listing, we’ve tried to show the TV program the person was known for at the time. For example, Roger Moore was known for his TV show The Pretenders in 1972, long before he did the James Bond films.
Last column in the above charts is the television network / station.
