Noughts and Crosses also called Tic Tac Toe

Time to Take a Break and Have Fun with Us

You may be thinking that Noughts and Crosses looks a lot like Tic Tac Toe. Not surprising because it's the same game. Tic Tac Toe is the American name for the game. We Aussies actually got Noughts and Crosses from the Brits back when the first prison ships landed on Australian shores.

Are you wondering how it got the name Noughts and Crosses? The Crosses part is easy to see. Americans call 0 a zero we call 0 a nought. Here's a bit of trivia for you . . . say the letter Z. If you said Zee then you're either a Yank or you watch too many of their TV shows. Aussies and Brits say Zed.

Now back to our game.

You CAN beat the computer with this classic game,
but be prepared for lots of draws.
