Eucalyptus Flowers

The name Eucalyptus means "well-covered" because appearance of its covered bud cap (look for it in the puzzle). The Coolibah tree mentioned in Banjo Paterson's song Waltzing Matilda is the eucalyptus E. Coolabah.

Eucalyptus trees can grow to gigantic proportions with some species reaching over 400 feet in height. Their puffball-like flowers have no petals. Instead they have numerous stamens which give them a fluffy appearance as you'll see in this puzzle. This is the hardest of the series.
