The ADU Promotion Program is an excellent way for Australian photographers, artists and businesses to gain exposure on the Internet at no cost to you. We differ from other card websites in how we promote your work.
First, we are interested in bringing to the public images reflective of Australia, it’s culture, people, activities and landscape. We want to share what makes Australia one of the best places to live.
Second, we want to showcase the talent that can be found in Australia. We’re very interested in encouraging and supporting Australian writers, artists and photographers and Australian businesses.
Your Exposure
If you are accepted into our ADU Promotion Program, we offer exposure to you in several ways. (Remember there is no cost to you at all.)
If you are an artist or photographer - you receive an About the Artist page with a link to your website
OR a Business Card for 12 months in our Business Directory.
If you are a business - you receive a Business Card for 12 months in our Business Directory
All custom designed Greeting Cards developed with your photographs or artwork will include your copyright credits to all photographs.
All cards in your Greeting Card Series will have a link to your website (if you have one)
Your Greeting Card Series will be submitted to 1,200 search engines and directories on the Internet.
Why Greeting Cards?
They are an excellent way to get exposure on the Internet without spamming anyone. Not only do you get exposure when people look at them to pick one out, but also all the people who receive one of your cards. We create custom sets of at least 8 cards. That gives enough variety to encourage people to send more than one at a time to their family, friends and business acquaintances.
Requirements
You do not need to be a professional photographer, artist or author. You do, however, need to be living in Australia and produce work that is Australian in nature. As an example, if you photograph flowers, we prefer native Australian flowers rather than say a rose or daffodil.
If you are a business, your photographs must relate in some way to your business. For example, if you are a helicopter tour operator the photos could be scenes from the helicopter. If you are a bed and breakfast operator, the photos could be of attractions or landscapes in your area. If you need help, contact us for ideas.
