Gwarli Nangala is Joanne's Aboriginal name. It's also the name she chose to use for her website and business.
In business for the last five years, she started out by having a small stall at the Mindil Beach Markets in Darwin. She has progressed to selling her products to galleries in Australia and also exports her art overseas.
