Black Crow is from Stormcellar’s new CD Hired Guns & Borrowed Glory. This is another song showing you their diverse style which some are now calling Ozicana.

Black Crow is the third song of theirs I’ve added to our website. I hope you enjoy their music as much as I do.

Michael Barry of Stormcellar was kind enough to share with you an excerpt from Black Crow.

There’s a half cut yellow moon
Glowering at me from the dark
Says I know your secret
Stole the fire from your heart
You know for every glory
There’s a price I have to pay
Looking out my window
That blackbird’s coming my way

I told you
He knows
They warned me
Black Crow

Balance of the chambers
Hanging heavy at my side
Saddle up my mustang
When that Moon is on the rise
Know for every glory
There’s a price I have to pay
Who waits outside my window
That Blackbird’s coming my way

I told you
He knows
They warned me
Black Crow

Hired guns and borrowed glory
What you did but wouldn’t say
Step out to meet my maker
That Black Bird’s coming my way

I told you
He knows
They warned me
Black Crow
