The 2009 Country Music Awards honored country music artists for musical performances and other career achievements during the 2009 calendar year.

Jayco was the sponsor this year. “Golden Guitar” trophies were given to winners. The Awards is a highlight of the Tamworth Country Music Festival. The Festival lasts for about 10 days. The Awards is organized by the Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA).
