1990 Golden Guitar Awards

New Zealand Insurance was the sponsor this year. It was originally called the Australasian Country Music Awards until 1993. “Golden Guitar” trophies were given to winners. The Awards was a highlight of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

The 1990 Country Music Awards honored country music artists for musical performances and other career achievements during the 1990 calendar year.
