29th ARIA Awards Ceremony

An ARIA Award celebrate the best in Australian music and acknowledge excellence, innovation and creativity of our creative industries.

The 2015 ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association)  Awards was telecast on Network 10. The Awards were hosted by Osher Gunsberg.

The Honourable Dr Brendon Nelson, Director of the Australian War Memorial presented Lee Kernaghan with an Outstanding Achievement Award for his poignant album ‘Spirit Of The ANZACS’ which honoured the 100th Anniversary of the ANZACS landing at Gallipoli.

Kylie Minogue inducted Tina Arena into the ARIA Hall of Fame at the ceremony. Tame Impala won the most awards with five trophies from six nominations. 5 Seconds of Summer won the public voted Twitter live vote in the Best Australian Live Act category. Over 2 million votes were cast from around the world for that category. The #ARIAs are the first Australian awards show to have a Twitter emoji created for it.

The ARIA Awards nominees were announced on 7 October 2015. Winners for Fine Arts Awards and Artisan Awards were also awarded at the same time. All winners listed below are in Red.

Public Voted Awards were given on four categories for 2015: Best Australian Live Act, Best International Artist, Best Video, and Song of the Year.
