Australian Government Medical Services (AGMS) gives you access to a wide range of world-class healthcare services for free, including GP consultations and out-of-hospital pathology and radiology tests.
Australia has a socialised health care system. It gives Australians subsidised health care through universal health insurance. A portion of the charge (in many instances the complete charge) for medical services is rebated through the Australian government through Medicare.
