47th Annual TV Week Logie Awards
Sunday, 1 May 2005
Palladium Ballroom, Crown Towers, Melbourne, VIC
The Logie Award Winners 2005 is a list of Australian television program Logie Awards winners and nominees. The awards are presented annually by the Australian television industry, currently as the TV Week Logie Awards, to recognise excellence in many areas of television, including acting, entertainment and news categories.
This year was marked by a historic first when Eddie McGuire (9 Network), Rove McManus (10 Network) and Andrew O’Keefe (7 Network) shared the limelight as hosts for the evenings festivities. It also marked Rove’s third straight win with a Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on TV.
Another memorable moment was the induction into the Logies Hall of Fame for Neighbours, a show that has run over 20 years on Australian television.
The 2005 Logies was hosted by Eddie McGuire, Rove McManus, and Andrew O’Keefe. Special Guests were Adam Rodriquez (CSI: Miami) and Kathryn Morris (Cold Case). Performers were Neighbours cast, Il Divo, Michael Bublé, and Mario.

NOTE: yes, we know many of the Special Guests are famous for more than what we list. Because this is a historical listing, we’ve tried to show the TV program the person was known for at the time. For example, Roger Moore was known for his TV show The Pretenders in 1972, long before he did the James Bond films.
Last column in the above charts is the television network / station.
