Why Forum Index turns RED

Unread postby Bambie » Sun Jan 27, 2013 4:26 pm

I have noticed that when I login in the Board Index some of the forums and subforums are in RED.

Can anyone tell me why? It changes in some logins. :?: :?:

Thanks Bambie for your question.. You question too will help others.

  • Guest or members not login can NOW see the Red highlighted forums or subforums.[/i]
  • When a member logs in may see some items may be in Red

The red highlights indicates

  • That there is a new post in that fourm and subforum
  • That you have not seen that post

As a member

You can click on the forum or subforum and it will take you there. Once you in that section you will see Topic Icons coloured in RED

Red icons indicates that has not been seen or read by you.

Reading any posts will reset back to normal colour.

You may cancel the ALL red highlights by clicking on "Mark Forums Read" on the Board Index page.

PLEASE NOTE - if you log out and later log in again any unread posts from the last login will still be visible + any new post.

HINT - If you do not want to see unread posts on your next log in click on "Mark Forums Read" before you log out andthe only red listings showing will be NEW post since your last login.
