The Logie Award Winners 1969 is a list of Australian television program Logie Awards winners and nominees. The awards are presented annually by the Australian television industry, currently as the TV Week Logie Awards, to recognise excellence in many areas of television, including acting, entertainment and news categories.

11th Annual TV Week Logie Awards

Friday, 21 March 1969
Southern Cross Hotel, Melbourne, Victoria
Hosted by Bert Newton

Special Guests were: Skippy The Bush Kangaroo, UK star Barry Morse (Fugitive), and USA stars William Shatner (Star Trek), Dennis Cole (Felony Squad), Barbara Anderson (Ironside), Ty Hardin (Riptide).

The Awards were televised on the Nine Network. You might notice that Cambridge Cigarettes were given an award for Best Commercial. This could never happen today because cigarette commercials are no longer allowed on Australian TV.

NOTE: yes, we know many of the Special Guests are famous for more than what we list. Because this is a historical listing, we’ve tried to show the TV program the person was known for at the time. For example, Roger Moore was known for his TV show The Pretenders in 1972, long before he did the James Bond films.

Last column in the above charts is the television network / station.
